Join in the fun at the Annual Cycle to the Beach in Palm Coast Florida.. An event ride sponsored by the Minnetonka Public Schools. Ride distances included are 16, 24,40,58, and 100 miles. This is one of the most organized and fun rides that I have ever done. Everyone is friendly, the SAG stops are amazing, most of the intersections are blocked for cyclists by local law enforcement, the after-ride expo is awesome, and almost every turn has a smiling person standing there to point you in the right direction. This event MUST be on your cycling bucket list!! Regardless of the distance.
Registration: To register for the ride and for more info on the ride, go to Tour de Tonka | Minnetonka Community Education. Fee includes ride support and rest stops. You must be registered for the ride in order to get TCBC mileage credit.
Email ride leader with distance ridden after the ride.
*As with all TCBC Outreach rides, you receive mileage credit but are not covered by TCBC insurance.
Ride start time/departure location: Arrive anytime between 5:30 – 7:10 to pick up your "swag bag" or register and be in the “Bike corral” in time for the start time. Please wear a TCBC jersey if you have one, preferably the newest one. The 16, 24, and 40 mile rides start at Minnetonka high school while the 58 and 100 mile rides start at Clear Springs Elementary. Parking will be provided at the schools. Please arrive at the ride start early to allow time for parking and check-in
