An easy peasy route. We start at the Imeson Trail Head and ride the other end of the trail and back. All on the trail with a short break when we get to the other end. All paces are welcome, you can't get lost!
We almost always have an A+ and A group and usually there is a B group. Many meet at Bagles R Us after the ride
The ride starts in the Home Depot parking lot (near the big trees just north of Bagels R Us). The faster riders keep to about 18 mph as we snake throurgh the neighborhoods of Ponte Vedra Beach. B rides B pace. Once we get to Ponte Vedra Blvd groups will speed up to cruising pace. We take a break at the Exxon station then make our way back to the parking lot and bagels
Sometime in May we typically move the ride to 7:30 and then back in September. Keep an eye on the calendar
This ride begins at the Imeson side of the JBRT and loops around and past Bryceville and connects again to the JBRT at the Baldwin trailhead and continues on the trail to the finish. There is one rest stop. Riders wanting 30 miles can ride from one end of the Baldwin Trail to the other and back. While all paces are welcome A and B are most common.
On nice days parking fills up fast so give yourself some extra time
The event takes place in Palm Coast Florida going south along the ocean and back north along the river. It is a beautiful course. The ride offers two distances complete with rest stops. Metric Century Minus (60 miles) and Half Metric Century (45 miles). To ride you MUST register with the event
Please also register here so that others may see who is planning to attend. If you want club miles for riding please email me after the event with the distance you rode.
There is always an “A” group for this ride. Frequently there is an “A+” group and very occasionally a “B” group. With this caveat faster and slower riders than A are always welcome. If you are a “B” ride and can attend more often than not I would like to build a B group up.
We start at Veterans' Park back near the Pickleball Courts. The route is mostly newer roads and where no bike lane/shoulder, roads are lightly travelled. In the summertime we move the start to 8:30 so watch the calendar.
After the ride many go for lunch, usually at Your Pie in Durbin. Spouses and have been known to join us as well.
